Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate(SLES)

Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, also known as Texapon, is a versatile anionic surfactant that belongs to the alkyl ether sulfate family. It is a translucent white or yellowish paste with a mild odor. Texapon N70, a variant of this substance, is a high viscosity paste that is commonly used to produce clear detergents. When diluted with water, it forms gel structures that are typical of ether sulphates. This product is used as a cleansing agent in a wide range of applications, including shampoo, shower gels, liquid soap, washing powder, and more. It boasts good foaming properties, but produces light, rather than thick foam. Texapon is stable in liquid solutions of up to 28% of the active substance, beyond which it becomes pasty.
