Panthenol Powder (Provitamin B5)

Provitamin B5, also known as dl-pantothenyl alcohol, pantothenol, or dexpanthenol, is a powdered form of the alcohol analog of vitamin B5, pantothenic acid. It is a 100% pure racemic mixture of l-panthenol and d-panthenol that easily penetrates the skin and hair, providing excellent moisturizing and softening properties.

Studies have shown that this ingredient is effective in improving the appearance of irritated skin and is often used as a rejuvenating agent. Moreover, it provides moisture and shine to the hair while reducing split ends.
